■ HORNDEAN and Ashford Town were unable to be separated in the Isthmian League South Central Division, with the hosts now as many as five points adrift of safety.
It wasn’t for the want of trying, however, with both goalkeepers tested aplenty in the early stages. Among those guilty of spurning those chances was Archie Larkham, who came closest to opening the scoring. Battling for their survival in the South Central, Ashford will be disappointed to have slipped up yet again.
