■ SITTINGBOURNE made it 17 games without defeat with a hard fought win over Merstham.
Two first half goals - a Joe Boachie header from an early corner and a terrific Troy Howard strike from Ryan Kingsford’s touch - in the end settled the contest as the Brickies were made to dig in on an increasingly boggy playing surface.
