TWO goals from captain Jake Goodman gave Phoenix Sports a thoroughly deserved victory over a lacklustre Herne Bay.
Akheem Belford lobbed Bay keeper Harley Earle before Liam Friend denied the goal, but from the following corner a Jake Goodman power header gave Phoenix the lead after half an hour.
Richard Pingling squandered a chance to double the lead after the break, hitting the bar with his spot kick.
Michael Salako then levelled the scores only for Goodman to restore the lead two minutes later, heading home from another ...
