RAMSGATE moved to within touching distance of a long-awaited promotion to Step 3 after a battling win at Beckenham Town.
The first half was a cagey affair until the visitors struck after 25 minutes, Joe Taylor sweeping home his 45th goal of the season from Benny Bioletti’s cross.
Becks almost responded immediately but Steve Townsend hit the post after 31 minutes.
The hosts deservedly levelled after 39 minutes when Louie Theophanous hammered home a fine equaliser from 20 yards.
