■ LOUIE Kudiabor’s last-minute penalty rescued a point for Brightlingsea Regent against Cambridge City.
It was Cambridge City who got the goalscoring underway midway through the first half when Jahkyah Ebanks-Blake found himself wheeling away in celebration after giving his side the lead with a neat finish.
It was not a lead that the hosts would enjoy for long, however, with Brightlingsea equalising just eight minutes later. Coming courtesy of Fin Adams, the goal ensured the visitors were level at the break.
