■ HERNE BAY fell to defeat against ruthless AFC Whyteleafe despite making the perfect start at Church Road. The visitors were in front inside three minutes, with Alfie Bloomfield arriving to turn in Zaid Al Hussaini’s precise cross.
Whyteleafe hit back swiftly, levelling after 10 minutes when Daniel Bennett met a superb delivery from Jamie Mascoll.
