■ THE Sparks got back to winning ways with this victory.
Jake Walker shot over and Reggie Hodan’s effort was saved. For the Sparks, Tyrese Briscoe’s shot clipped the bar.
Park broke the deadlock in the 45th minute when Shamal Edwards cut the ball back to Craig McGee, whose first-time shot flew into the corner of the net.
Brad Sweeney’s angled shot was saved by Charlie Searle in the Fareham goal, then Briscoe shot wide, while Hodan hit the Park bar. Briscoe and Aidan Brown had shots saved and Dan Moody shot just wide.
