MARGATE started their season in style with a prolific opening 45 minutes proving enough to seal three points.
The hosts got off to a flying start with Baselle Aristride producing a galloping run before rifling home.
A few minutes later The Gate doubled their lead courtesy of centreback Tom Wynter.
Margate added further gloss to their first-half display, Alex Brown letting loose from 25 yards.
