Rooks checkmate the Wands

LEWES became the first side to take three points from Dorking Wanderers’ new Meadowbank Stadium.
After a lively Wands start, the Rooks had the first shot on target, Steve Brinkhurst’s tenth-minute effort saved by keeper Slavomir Huk, who moments later denied Luke Blewden Then Jonte Smith twice went close, thwarted the second time by Wands skipper Chris Boulter who was already putting in an immense performance. Wands’ Ben Dyett came close from James McShane’s free-kick.
