GOALS either side of the break were enough to give Tonbridge Angels the three points in the Kent derby at Margate, as they have still to concede a league goal this season.
The hosts enjoyed a bright opening period, Joe Taylor manufacturing a good opportunity for Baselle Aristride to launch a shot towards goal but his wellstruck effort went over the crossbar.
Tom Beere gave Angels the lead on 28 minutes, capitalising on time and space on the edge of the box to fire beyond Gate keeper Henry Newcombe’s outstretched arm.
