NICKY SHOREY’S managerial reign at Wingate & Finchley got off to the perfect start as his new charges sealed their first win in four games, hanging on despite being reduced to ten men late on. Marc Charles-Smith’s first-half goal and a man-of-the-match display from Gate keeper Shane Gore, secured all three points for the new management team of Shorey and ex-Reading team-mate Glen Little, The result left Leatherhead outside the relegation zone on goal difference only.
