MARGATE and Leatherhead battled for a point apiece at Hartsdown Park on a blustery Saturday afternoon.
After an opening 15 minutes as damp as the weather, the first half sprung to life when the visitors took the lead.
Dangerman Shaun Okojie slammed the ball home on the halfvolley from a corner Margate were unable to clear, putting Leatherhead one ahead.
The hosts looked to fight back as the half wore on, with Bradley Stevenson and Tom Mills enjoying some speculative shots from distance.
