LEWES’s promotion bid was held by lowly, tenman Potters Bar in a game which did nothing to raise the temperature at the Dripping Pan.
Chances were few and far between for both sides, although the visitors nearly led on seven minutes when James Budden’s header crashed against the bar.
Budden was involved again in the 25th minute when a mix-up with Scholars keeper Nikola Tzanev gave Omarr Lawson space, but his lob was gathered by the relieved keeper.
