GREENWICH BOROUGH’S relegation was confirmed as they suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Hastings United.
Jack Dixon put the visitors ahead within ten minutes after a long Ollie Black throw in found him free at the back-post and Sam Adams doubled the lead from the penalty spot.
And before the half was out, Dixon made it three with a thunderous strike from just outside the penalty area.
Luke Leppard grabbed a consolation but with Guernsey dodging defeat elsewhere, even a win for Greenwich wouldn’t have been enough to keep them up.
