LEWES emphatically won this battle of the bottom two at Fetcham Grove, leaving Leatherhead rooted to the foot of the table.
It was a pacey start by both teams. But Eddie Dsane should have given the Tanners a seventh- minute lead, firing well over a gaping goal.
Two minutes later, the Rooks made the hosts pay for their profligacy when Charlie Coppola comfortably slotted home.
