ROB TOLFREY marked his 500th appearance as Kingstonian goalkeeper with a star man performance which helped a semi-entertaining encounter remain goalless.
Both sides’ goalkeepers and centre-back pairs were in line for star man status, especially after a fine first half.
However, the game rather petered out in the last half-hour in the unseasonal heat.
Bowers & Pitsea keeper Callum Chafer was felled by an early Dan Thompson power-drive.
