WORTHING’S madcap draw with Leatherhead looked a thrilling encounter, but it was as much a story of two hapless defences as two unrelenting strike-forces.
The hosts led on three minutes when Lloyd Dawes cut inside and crossed for Ollie Pearce to nod home. Leatherhead levelled on 18 minutes with a Travis Gregory tap-in and led when Charles Heston-Cook pounced on a poor kick-out to find the bottom corner.
