BOWERS & PITSEA ran riot after weathering an early Leatherhead storm, three goals in six early second- half minutes setting up the rout.
The hosts made the best possible start as Billy Knott curled Bowers into a 10th minute lead with a beautiful free kick.
Leatherhead came within inches of equalising as Ryan Huckle’s 25- yard strike cannoned off the crossbar. The visitors continued to press on and Joe Leslie was denied twice by keeper Lamar Johnson.
But the nature of the game changed irrevocably when Bowers doubled their advantage...
