BILLY BRICKNELL’S goal three minutes from time gave Enfi eld all three points, but Merstham were left to rue a number of missed chances, having played by far the better football in the second half.
There was very little goal mouth action to report during the fi rst half, with both defences on top.
The most notable events before the break were injuries to two Moatsiders, James Richmond after only 14 minutes and Joedon Cugas Cowin sxi minutes before half-time.
The second half was much more open, with both sides looking dangerous.
