A WINNER seven minutes from time from Michael Ward ensured Bromsgrove Sporting took the spoils of a cold windy afternoon at the newly named Yvette Brewster stadium.
Debutant Ward fi red in at the back post following a corner from substitute Chris Lait.
It capped a frustrating afternoon for the Waders, who conjured up enough chances to at least draw the game with new signing Fabio Lopez tormenting the visitors’ defence throughout.
