JACK LEAHY’S late leveller gave Merstham a point which left East THurock tooted to the early season league table.
The game which provided better value than the sides’ lowly league positions suggested.
Izzy Bademosi had the ball in the net for the Rocks early on with a cracking drive, only to be flagged offside.
The Surrey side led on the half hour when ex- Rocks man Calvin Ekpiteta fired home from just inside the box.
East Thurrock levelled within three minutes of falling behind.
