BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent were brushed aside and well beaten by a buoyant Aveley side, pushing for promotion.
The visitors began the scoring inside when Blaise Riley-Snow received a ball inside the box to slot home the opener.
Regent pushed for an equaliser, with two good chances, Luke Woodward miscued from a cross and Connor Barnby poked wide from the edge of the box.
Aveley got a second on the stroke of halftime when Harry Gibbs converted from a corner.
