Match Preview: AFC Hornchurch v Haringey Borough (Saturday, 3pm)

Relegation candidates Haringey Borough face a challenge away against high-flying AFC Hornchurch at the Hornchurch Stadium on Saturday.

Haringey Borough are 21st in the Isthmian Premier Division table, and have picked up just three wins and nine draws in their 30 games to date.

Hornchurch, meanwhile, are top of the standings with 67 points, having won 20 and drawn seven of their first 28 matches.

With 68 goals in 28 games so far this season, Hornchurch are the league’s highest scorers with 2.4 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 23 goals at a rate of 0.8 per game.

Haringey, meanwhile, are below average scorers, with 0.8 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.6. They have conceded 1.9 goals per game.

The hosts are in good form in the Isthmian Premier Division, with four wins and two draws from their last six games.
