Match Preview: Whitehawk v Cray Wanderers (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Cray Wanderers visit Whitehawk at the Enclosed Ground on late Tuesday on the back of three consecutive wins in the Isthmian Premier Division.

Cray have picked up 14 points from their last six games, and they face a Hawks side who drew their last match, and have collected eight points from the last possible 18.

With 38 goals in 31 games so far this season, Cray are scoring at below the league average rate with 1.2 goals per game. But they are conceding fewer than average too, letting in 44 goals at a rate of 1.4 per game.

Whitehawk are also below average scorers, with 1.5 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.6. They have also conceded 1.5 goals per game.

The Hawks are 15th in the table after 28 games, of which they have won nine and drawn 10, earning 37 points.

Wanderers are two places ahead of the home side in 13th, with 11 wins and nine draws putting them on 42 points.

Whitehawk’s last match was on Saturday, a 1-1 draw against Hashtag United.

Cray beat Kingstonian 1-0 last time out, also on Saturday.
