Match Preview: Billericay Town v Hashtag United (Saturday, 3pm)

Billericay Town host Hashtag United in Saturday’s match at the AGP Arena looking to bounce back from defeat last time out in the Isthmian Premier Division.

Billericay, who sit third in the league after 32 games, fell to a 6-3 away defeat to Chatham Town on February 24.

They face a Hashtag side who secured a draw in their last match, a 1-1 tie with Whitehawk, and who sit 12th in the table.

Billericay are in bad form in the Isthmian Premier Division, with one win and five losses from their last six games.

With a win and three draws over that period, Hashtag’s form is better – they have taken six points from 18, compared to Town’s three.

With 53 goals in 32 games so far this season, the hosts are scoring more than average in the league with 1.7 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 35 goals at a rate of 1.1 per game.

United, meanwhile, are average scorers, with 1.6 goals per game. They have conceded 1.7 goals per game.
