Match Preview: Concord Rangers v Wingate and Finchley (Saturday, 2pm)

Wingate and Finchley visit Concord Rangers at Thames Road on Saturday on the back of three consecutive wins in the Isthmian Premier Division.

Wingate & Finchley have picked up 13 points from their last six games, and they face a Beach Boys side who have lost their last nine matches, and collected no points from the last possible 18.

Concord are 21st in the table after 34 games, of which they have won five and drawn six, earning 21 points.

Wingate & Finchley are 18 places ahead of Rangers in third, with 20 wins and five draws putting them on 65 points.

With 29 goals in 34 games so far this season, the Beach Boys are the league’s second-lowest scorers with 0.9 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 65 goals at a rate of 1.9 per game.

The Blues, meanwhile, are above average scorers, with 1.9 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.6. They have conceded 1.6 goals per game.

Concord’s last match was on Monday, a 2-0 loss against Billericay Town.
