THE league’s entertainers provided another match of the day in a seven-goal thriller at Leylands Park.
It took just three minutes for Ben Pope to open the scoring. Hamish Morrison crossed for him and Pope acrobatically bicycle- kicked into the top corner… yet that wasn’t even the goal of the day. Out of nowhere, defender Reggie Ward strode forward and unleashed the goal of the season so far, smashing into the top corner from 30 yards on 12 minutes.
Five minutes later, it was three as Chris Whelpdale broke the offside ...
