Lambert leaves Wands looking for some magic

CRAY’S hopes of taking root in the play-offs were dented on Friday night as Whitehawk moved up to 11th following a comeback win sealed by Charlie Lambert’s double.
The Wands started well with Soul Kader firing just past the right post. For the Hawks, Andrew Briggs’ free-kick strike was saved by Harry Seaden.
Cray enjoyed a purple patch for the rest of the half with Kader having a shot parried by Francis Hurl. Ralfi Hand shot wide and Harry Waldock saw a shot pushed round the left post by Hurl.
