Chatham Town were left frustrated at the Bauvill Stadium as rivals Dartford claimed a victory, striking early before withstanding sustained second-half pressure.
It was a nightmare opening for Kevin Hake’s side, who found themselves behind inside the opening three minutes. Dartford wasted no time in asserting themselves and capitalised on a quick start when Joe Tennent rose highest from an early delivery, powering a header beyond Nathan Harvey to give the visitors the lead.
