DANIEL Bregoli struck the only goal of the game, as Halesowen pulled themselves clear of the relegation zone with a vital victory at fellow strugglers Frickley.
Home keeper Seb Malkowski had to be alert in the 11th minute to make a fine save.
Home player-manager Lee Morris went close on 40 minutes and Frickley’s Noel Burdett was also not far away with a header, while Asa Charlton was likewise at the other end.
Adam Priestley should have done better when one-on-one with Halesowen keeper Daniel Platt.
