WARRINGTON’S late play-off charge continued at the expense of a Sutton Coldfield side running out of shots at survival in this dour encounter.
Danny Hattersley settled it in the 57th minute with a deft flicked finish after mesmerising footwork had seen half-time substitute Dylan Vassallo waltz his way through three challenges to cut in from the right.
It was a rare moment of quality as two sides that had boasted improved form of late coasted through the motions on an afternoon of frustrated cries from the sidelines.
