CLUB captain Matt Baker sympathised with Ilkeston fans as relegation became a reality.
The players have not been paid since December but pressed on as transfer talk swirled around the Derbyshire club. Central defender Baker said: “It’s been the worst season I have had done here.”
The point was made as Stourbridge took a sixthminute lead when the home defence was split by a pass from captain Tom Tonks. Ethan Jones was onto it and rolled the ball home.
