SUTTON Coldfield battled hard for a point, which was enough to keep them in the Premier Division.
For Workington it was a scrappy finish to a regulation season, with a long, unbeaten run to earn a play-off place.
The Cumbrians, who have just completed four matches in eight days, must travel to Stourbridge on Monday night for their semi-final.
It was a game of few chances though James Earl, Scott Allison and Jack Ryan were all just off target in the first half for Workington.
