COLNE FC boss Steve Cunningham sealed what he described as his “best ever signing” at the club – and then set his sights on a promotion charge.
The Reds boss has landed Turkish goalkeeper Hakan Burton – once on the books of Liverpool – from National League North side Curzon Ashton.
“This has to go down as one of my biggest signings in my time as manager of Colne FC, I am proud to have pulled this off, “ said Cunningham, whose side reached the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division One North play-offs last term.
