STALYBRIDGE belied their lowly league status by comprehensively beating promotion favourites Stourbridge.
The first half took place in a rainstorm, making conditions almost impossible with standing water appearing on the pitch.
The deadlock was broken just four minutes from the break when Stourbridge keeper Matt Gould tripped Celtic midfielder Tom Brown in the box, and Liam Dickinson stepped up to send him the wrong way.
The second half took place in brilliant sunshine and the football improved significantly.
