MARINE slumped to a sixth home league defeat of the season as Matlock Town took all three points away from the Marine Travel Arena.
The afternoon started promisingly for the Crosby club as they took a 16th-minute lead. Peter Wylie’s well-timed challenge pushed the ball square to George Lomax, and the ex-Widnes striker coolly beat Phil Barnes.
