ALTRINCHAM and Buxton shared the points as Josh Hancock cancelled Luke Hinsley’s opener inside ten minutes. But despite the early flourish, both sides were frustrated in front of goal.
The Bucks went in front 90 seconds into the game, after Tony Thompson parried Joe McGee’s effort to Hinsley, who smashed the ball into the bottom corner.
Then, seven minutes later, Alty were level, after Joel Bembo-Leta nodded John Johnston’s free-kick back across goal, and there was top scorer Hancock to head in.
