TWO SECOND half goals gave Grantham a narrow yet exciting win over Lancaster City.
The game opened with three goals in the first 11 minutes.
Grantham took the lead on three minutes when Jordan Hempenstall’s shot was pushed out by Lancaster keeper Josh Powell only for Hempenstall to finish the loose ball.
Lancaster came back with an equaliser on seven minutes when Steven Williams headed home a long throw from Samuel Bailey.
Lancaster took the lead on 11 minutes when Meile Meulensteen burst through to fire past Preston in the Grantham goal.
