IT WAS a tale of two keepers at Barrowfold, as Mickleover recorded a comprehensive victory as they hammered a below-par and disappointing Stalybridge Celtic.
Sports keeper Lewis King made a string of superb saves and was thankful to his woodwork four times as Celtic somehow drew a blank.
While at the other end Joe Slinn had an afternoon he will be more than happy to forget. He needlessly upended Andy Dales to concede a fifthminute penalty which playermanager John McGrath duly despatched for the opener.
