MARINE continued their fine run of form with a convincing victory at Barwell.
And yet it was the home side who had the first chance of the game when Brady Hickey’s downward header bounced in the six-yard box before looping over the crossbar.
As the first half progressed, the game settled down, with Marine edging the best of the chances. Danny Mitchley’s shot was ruled out for offside on 25 minutes, before Florian Da Silva received inside the ball inside the box and fired home less than 60 seconds later.
