ALEXANDER QUITS GREENWICH SHIP

FORMER Millwall and Leyton Orient star Gary Alexander has ended his spell as Greenwich Borough manager due to the club’s current financial constraints.
Borough sat in the Bostik South play-offs, five points off leaders Lewes, ahead of the weekend having won promotion from the Southern Counties East League in 2016.
Last season saw defeat in the play-off semi-final to Corinthian Casuals and now Alexander as well as his assistant John Mackie have departed.
