■LEADING striker Lee Shaw had a hand in all three goals as Grantham moved up to second. After a low-key start, home goalkeeper Dan Platt cut out a dangerous 19th minute cross from Danny Meadows.
Hales owen’s Kevin Monteiro made an impressive home debut and his 22nd minute low shot was saved by goalkeeper Kieran Preston.
Grantham defended solidly as Monteiro also set up both Khaellem Bailey-Nicholls and Matthew Barnes- Homer to be blocked in the box.
