BARWELL picked up their first home win since the start of October with this narrow victory.
The Canaries dominated the game from the off, starting on the front foot when Mitch Piggon put a header over within two minutes.
Barwell were rewarded on 11 minutes when Matt Stenson went up for a brave header against the goalkeeper and came out on top as the ball rolled into the back of the net.
Brady Hickey and Stenson played some lovely interchanging play in the first half, and both were guilty of missing chances to double the lead.
