STRUGGLERS IN A LIKELY SCRAP

IT WAS a case of honours even as the two bottom teams battled to a scrappy draw in difficult conditions.
Despite dominating the game for long periods, Stalybridge were unable to force home their superiority against a dogged Royals defence, and a draw was probably the right result come the final whistle.
