WARRINGTON TOWN continued to cement their play-off position with a victory against bottom club Sutton Coldfield Town at Coles Lane.
Both teams looked evenly matched during the first 20 minutes, with there being few attempts on goal as both midfields trying to take control.
The Royals’ best chance so far came when Karl Hawley flicked the ball over his own head and fired goalwards, but the former Walsall and Carlisle striker’s shot was blocked and turned behind for a corner that the Warrington defence had trouble in clearing.
