■ BARWELL extended their unbeaten run to nine games with this slender victory at home to Workington.
The Canaries started the game on the front foot, dominating possession and pinning the visitors into their own half for long periods.
Nigel Julien and Craig Reid both had shots blocked while Sam Joel’s near-post effort, saved by Liam Castle, was Workington’s best reply.
