MICKLEOVER played their first home League game in eight weeks due to the recent spell of bad weather and were determined to put on a show for their fans – and they certainly did that.
The 1-0 scoreline was not an accurate reflection of the magnitude of the host’s victory as they dominated the majority of the game.
They were the better side from start to finish as they gave Workington a going over.
They were the deserved winners and will be delighted to have picked up all three points from this entertaining encounter.
