A RESILIENT showing by Buxton saw them claim all three points on Merseyside, despite Ricky Ravenhill’s 26thminute dismissal.
Josh Amis opened the scoring for the Mariners midway through the first half, finishing deftly from James Murray’s cross for his fifth goal in four games.
Ravenhill was then sent off in the 26th minute for an apparent headbutt in a clash with Tom Field.
