■NANTWICHTown’s season ended in defeat as they went down thanks to two penalties from Robert Thompson-Brown.
The game started brightly for both as Thompson-Brown was denied by a defensive clearance after he beat Dabbers’ stopper Myles Boney to the ball.
At the other end Danny Griggs may well have done better when well placed as he shot straight at keeper Adam Whitehouse.
The first goal came after 15 minutes as Thompson-Brown converted from the spot following Nathan Cotterell’s foul on the midfielder.
