A STOPPAGE time winner from Steve Jones ensured Nantwich Town started the season with a victory.
The experienced forward headed in from close range following a fine assist from new signing Callum Saunders as the visitors ended the game with ten men following Nathan Stainfield’s red card.
The game was stop start and both sides struggled to create chances although Matt Bell fired wide from distance after Saunders had found him.
Trinity then went close as Ashley Worsfold was denied by a fine close range save from Will Jaaskelainen.
